Take a look at the brand new releases this spring at Footasylum. More details below:
First released in 1986, the Air Jordan 2 was the second signature shoe for the Jordan brand, designed by Bruce Kilgore following the success of the Air Jordan 1.
Constructed with embossed leather detailing and premium materials, the Air Jordan 2 was a more luxurious silhouette for MJ to take to the court. The style releases in one of the most favoured colour combinations from Nike of Infrared and white, with the addition of a speckled texture to the mudguard and ankle wrap.
The limited edition style takes inspiration from its predecessor, with the addition of the Air Jordan winged logo to this retro release. Pop colour detailing through the piping and heel counter bring this otherwise monochrome colourway to life. Footasylum will have the Nike Air Jordan 2 for both men and kids. Men’s are £134.99 and kid’s are £104.99.
Also releasing online this Saturday is the next chapter in the ever-evolving adidas ZX Series, the ZX Flux.
The adidas ZX 8000 was first released in 1989 and joined as part of the pioneering ZX family. It connected with world-class athletes and the style conscious casuals, with an innovative approach to footwear design.
Incorporating the best performance technologies such as SoftCell to the heel and the revolutionary Torsion system, which allowed a free and natural movement of the foot – the ZX 8000 allowed for maximum response and comfort.
The ZX 8000 had an updated look to any other ZX before it, with TPU heel caging to provide support matched with a futuristic feel. The style took the sneaker community by storm with vivid colourways and contrasting branding, which is still relevant in releases today.
For Spring 2014, the adidas ZX story continues with the introduction of the ZX Flux. Released in celebration of the silhouettes 25th anniversary and also marking the styles boldest development to date.
Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, the ZX Flux houses the DNA of the ZX 8000 but with a clean, stripped back construction – eliminating excess to keep only the essential design aesthetics of the original release, along with the latest pioneering performance technologies.
The ZX Flux offers a completely fresh style that’s ready to perform, along with bold digital print uppers to compliment this exciting new development. With a synthetic upper and fused stripe branding the ZX Flux allows for a lightweight feel, whilst the primary elements of the Torsion system and heel cage remain.
The adidas Originals ZX Flux ‘Photo Print’ pack releases online tomorrow at 08:00am GMT for £79.99.
